Pop sensation Lady Gaga has reportedly bought Yester House, a 17th century mansion near Gifford in East Lothian in Scotland - much to the bemusment of local residents!The United States real estate website The Real Estalker, with a reputation for relaying insider tip-offs on celebrity purchases, said the 24-year-old singer had exchanged contracts on the property.
The 60 room mansion and 200 acre estate, is one of Scotland's most expensive properties, comprising of six principal bedrooms, a 1,300sq ft ballroom and three kitchens.
Estate agents Knight Frank said the mansion went on the market for £15 million two years ago. Yester House also has musical connections. Built between 1699 and 1728, it was owned from the 1970s by Italian-American composer Gian Carlo Menotti, who died in 2007.
